A two-hour hands-on workshop for working WP freelancers who want to use Claude Code as a real dev partner, not a toy. We'll build with the open-source wp-agentic-kit and walk away with a setup you can use on your next Codeable project.

A Claude Code setup that actually understands WordPress
Configure Claude Code with the wp-agentic-kit so it knows your conventions, project structure, and coding standards. Not generic JS scaffolding.

Agentic workflows you can use on Monday
Use skills, plan mode, and subagents to scaffold Gutenberg blocks, REST endpoints, and Settings pages. Including how to review what Claude produces before shipping it to a client.

A reusable kit of prompts and skills
Not throwaway one-off generations. Patterns you can apply across freelance projects, with a clear sense of where this approach earns its keep and where it doesn't.
Before you sit down
Prerequisites
This is a hands-on session. If your laptop isn't ready, you'll spend the first hour playing catch-up. We'll send a full setup guide 48 hours before, but you must have these in place to attend:
- → Active Claude Pro or Claude Max subscription. Bring login credentials.
- → Laptop with Claude Code CLI installed (and VS Code or your editor with the IDE extension).
- → Node 20+, PHP 8.2+, Composer.
- → A local WordPress environment running (wp-now, Studio by WordPress.com, or LocalWP).
- → Working knowledge of WordPress plugin development: hooks, blocks, REST API basics.
- → Proof of setup emailed back to us 48 hours before the workshop (screenshot of the verification command from the setup guide). Seats without proof are released to the waitlist.
If you can't meet the prerequisites by 48 hours before, your seat is released to the waitlist. That keeps it fair for everyone.

This in-person workshop is a test run for a paid online course launching later in 2026. That's why your seat is free, and it's why I'll record audio during the session to refine the material for the online version.
No video, no attribution. Recordings are not shared externally. If you'd rather not be heard on tape during a specific question, tell me and I'll pause the recording. The trade for free seats is honest feedback at the end of the session.
